WHO ARE WE AND HOW CAN YOU CONTACT US?
Rightfounder provides a product to help founders understand compatibility with their business partners, amongst other services.
Rightfounder is responsible for processing the personal information you provide to us securely and fairly and following the new EU General Data Protection Regulations that come into force on 25th May 2018. and is registered with The UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) under the UK Data Protection Act 1998.
Your request will be directed to the appropriate person within Rightfounder. Please allow 3 working days for a response.
You have the right to tell us if you:
Do not want to be contacted in the future by us.
Would like a copy of the personal information which we hold about you.
Would like us to correct, update, or delete your personal information in our records.
Wish to report any misuse of your personal information.
To assist us in dealing with your request, please provide your full name and details.

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site and information about how you interact with the Site. In the course of using our Rightfounder tool, we will collect details from you and your co-founders about your business, including more personal information about your age and gender, your business name, its function and details on your business plan. We do this to enable us to use the Rightfounder tools to give you guidance on your business planning. See terms and conditions for more details on how and why we do this. Information collected regarding your business is referred to as “Company information”.
Finally on our Site, if you register or sign up you will be given the option to opt-in to receive our marketing emails. To do this, we will also collect your name and email. We never want to send you any emails that you don’t want, so you can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the link at the bottom of any email we send you. We refer to this information as “Marketing Information.”
HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
We use the Order Information that we generally collect to fulfil any orders placed through the Site(including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to:
Communicate with you;
Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and
When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.
We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimise our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).
